Terms & Sample Ownership
Your samples remain yours
You retain your ownership rights in audio, metadata and mutations you upload or create. Using Sample DNA does not transfer ownership to Sample DNA or tonymiro.
Your permission
You grant the service only the limited permission necessary to encrypt, store, transmit, restore and delete material at your direction. This permission ends when the associated cloud material is deleted, subject to limited operational backup retention.
Tester accounts
The master account may manage tester access and view aggregate storage usage. It cannot decrypt a tester's filenames or audio without that tester's private passphrase. Account access may be suspended for abuse, security threats or legal requirements.
Your responsibility
You must own the material or have permission to use and store it. You are responsible for sample clearance, licenses, releases and compliance with copyright, privacy and other applicable laws. Sample DNA does not provide sample-clearance advice.
Prohibited use
Do not upload malicious files, unlawful material, stolen credentials, personal information without permission or content that infringes another person’s rights. Do not attempt to bypass storage, authentication or security limits.
Availability and backups
The service is provided as available and may change. Keep your own copies of important audio. Encrypted Backup and device Trash are conveniences, not your only backup.
Deletion and termination
You may delete individual cloud files or your entire cloud account. Access may be limited for abuse, security threats or legal requirements.
